During 2015 we took on numerous new staff including Rob Cooper who runs our midland’s operations from the MMA Lighting Consultancy Derby Office. Rob previously worked for Balfour Beatty is a lighting design engineer and joined MMA Lighting Consultancy as a Senior Lighting Designer to carry out Section 38 and Section 278 lighting designs in the midland’s and north of England. Rob is tasked with expanding the business in these areas for MMA Lighting Consultancy and acquire new clients and generally assist and improve the service to our already existing client base within this region.
Part of the work we can provide in this area are street lighting design schemes for new on site schemes for residential roadways, parking courtyards, car parks and amenity lighting. We are also able to undertake section 278 lighting designs which include new roundabout designs, junction/highway adjustments etc, which might also require cable calculations in accordance with BS 7671, TR28 lighting level surveys and client liaison.
