Lighting Impact Assessments
MMA Lighting Consultancy carry out lighting impact assessments for a range of existing clients ranging from proposed developments, existing lighting issues and business units. Our exterior lighting impact assessments cover existing base line conditions, sensitive receptors, information regarding the local ecology and how any proposed or altered lighting might have an effect on the existing ecology.
As part of a street lighting impact assessment we can cover things such as a strategy for the lighting, dimming, part night control and recommend the most optimal solution for both energy saving, cost of installation and keeping the impact on the environment to an absolute minimum.
All of our records are in accordance with the Institution of Lighting Engineers reduction of obtrusive lighting 2011 and fully take on board the clients existing ecology and traffic data studies. As per of our reports we can either visit site or carry out desk top evaluations using lighting reality design software.
